Columbia, June 28. – Miss Caroline Lilly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Lilly, 
who reside on Spruce street, and Edward Young, son of Mrs. Theresa Young, 
residing on North Fifth street, were united in marriage at eight o’clock this 
morning in Holy Trinity Catholic church in the presence of a large gathering of 
relatives and friends.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. August Wittman, the 
assistant rector.

They were attended by Miss Marguerite Lilly, a sister of the bride, and Miss 
Minna Young, a sister of the groom, and Charles E. and Joseph Bittner, cousins 
of the groom.
