Bender I Kinzer Bender, of Upper Leacock Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, hereby make the following to be my last will and testament, namely, First, I direct all my just debts and funeral expenses to be paid as soon as can be imminently done after my decease. Second, I give and bequeath to my wife, Lizzie A Bender, absolutely, the sum of Four Thousand Dollars. Third, I give and bequeath the sum of Three hundred dollars to the Methodist Church at Lebla, and the sum of Three hundred dollars to the Evangelical Church of B???stown, Lancaster County, PA. Fourth, I give and devise to my son J. Miles Bender, my farm of three hundred acres, more or less, in Lower Chanceford Township, York County, Pa., at the valuation of Fifteen Thousand dollars to be accounted for in the distribution of my estate provided he accepts and pays for the same by April 1, 1921, incase of my death before that time. If he does not accept the same then my executor shall sell said farm the same as I direct herein after in regard to my other real estate. Fifth, Subject to the right of my said son to accept said farm in York County as set fourth in the preceding section of my will. I direct my executor hereinafter named to convert my entire estate, real personal or mixed into cash, and to that end I empower him to sell my real estate including said Farm in case my said son J. Miles Bender does not accept the same, either at public or private sale and to make deed or deeds to the purchases or purchases thereof. And when my entire estate including the proceeds of said farm whether accepted or sold shall be converted into cash as afore said, I order said proceeds together with my residuary estate, after the payment of the legacies herein above included to be divided among my children Olive Mohn, Lettie Ravegum, Ida V. Roberts, Ellis G. Bender, Aaron E. Bender, J. Miles Bender, Herbert L. Bender, Vernon U. Bender in such may however, that the following shares shall be reduced of the following amounts which shall be charged up against said shares respectively. The share of Olive Mohn shall be reduced seven hundred dollars which shall be charged up against her share. The share of Ida V. Roberts shall be reduced one thousand dollars which shall be charged up against her share. The share of Aaron K. Bender shall be reduced one thousand dollars which shall be charged up against his share. The share of J. Miles Bender shall be reduced six thousand dollars which shall be charged up against his share. The share of Herbert L. Bender shall be reduced two thousand dollars which shall be charged up against his share. Lastly I name, constitute and appoint my son, Ellis G. Bender, to be the executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Tenth day of May AD 1920. Mohler Kinzer Bender died June 3, 1920 Lancaster County Will Book B, Vol 3, Page 437 Lancaster County SS, On the 14th day of June 1920 before me the subscribers personally appeared John W. Appel, Esq. and Paul E. Mohler, the subscribing witnesses to the preceding Will and on their solemn affirmation did declare and say that they were present and saw and heard Kinzer Bender, the testator therein named sign seal publish pronounce and declare the same to be his last will and testament, and that at the time of the doing thereof he was of sound and will disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge observation and belief.
