Will – Book Y, Volume 1, page 449 The last will and testament of Peter Cramer, son of the township of Martic, in the County of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania. I Peter Cramer, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound mind, and memory, do make and publish this my last will and testament, in manner and form following that is to say. First, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Catharine Cramer all my property real and personal, to have and to hold the same to her own proper use, during her natural life, and upon the decease, of my beloved wife Catharine Cramer, I direct that the property be appointed and afterwards sold, to the highest bidder, and further I direct that the moneys arising from such sale shall be divided among my surviving children and legal heirs, as follows to my oldest son George and equal share, except fifty dollars to my grandson, Henry Miller twenty five dollars, and the residue of the money I direct to be divided equally among the rest of my surviving children share and share alike, to be paid as before directed. And I make and ordain Christian Hackman, Executor of this my last will and testament. Signed, sealed and acknowledged by the testor in the presence of the subscribers as his last will and testament.
