The undersigned Christian Hackman Executor of the last Will and Testament of Peter Cramer late of Martic Township, Lancaster County dec’d. Respectfully Represents. That the said dec’d was seized in his demesne as of fee of the following real estate, to arbitrate: A Tract of land containing about twenty three (23) Acres, with a two Story Log house, and a Log Barn thereon Erected, situated in said Martic Township, adjoining property of John Armstrong, Hiram Eckman and the undersigned, valued at about Eight Hundred (800) dollars; That the said decedent died in December 1865 leaving personal property amounting to One hundred and twenty two and 24 cents (122.24) dollars, and that after paying the debts of the said decedent there is a balance due the Accountant of Four hundred and seven and 50 cents (407.50) dollars, as per Account filed in the Registors Office on the 12th day of August 1871, and duly confirmed: That under the last will and Testament of the said decedent he bequeathed all his real estate to his surviving wife, Catharine Cramer, during her natural life and upon the decease of his said wife, directed the said real estate to be appraised and sold to the highest bidder, and the money arising from such sale among his surviving children; That the said Accountant is anxious to be paid his claim as per Account aforesaid and prays the Court to grant him an Order to sell the said real estate, for said purchase, And be will even pray he. Christian Hackman To the truth of the facts set forth in the foregoing petition the petitioner was duly affirmed according to law. Sale to be held on the premises. Thursday September 18th, A.D. 1873 At 2 o’clock P.M. Terms, purchase money after payment of debts to remain a lien upon the premises the interest of which to be paid annually to Catharine Cramer, widow of Peter Cramer dec’d during her natural life, and the principal at her death to be paid to the heirs and legal representations of said Peter Cramer dec’d as directed in his last will and Testament. The balance of the said purchase money to be paid to the Executor on the first day of April 1874.
