We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ Will of William Hensil (Hensel) recorded Oct. 15, 1842, Lancaster County courthouse Will Book T Vol. 1 page 117 - 118 In the name of god, Amen I William Hensil, the ( the elder) of the township of Martick in the County of Lancaster, and State of Pennsylvania ( house carpenter) being of sound mind, memory and understanding. Blessed be God for the same and considering the uncertainty of this transitory life, Do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit, First, It is my will, and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid as soon as can veniantly can after my decease Item, I give devise and bequeath into my granddaughter Ann Catherine Hunter, my desk, and book case and my beds and bedsteads Item it is my request that all my property shall be sold to the best advantage and the money arising from such sale or sales shall be equally divided amongst my seven children (viz) George who is deceased leaving a widow and five children John, Jacob, William, Catherine intermarried with Daniel East, and Maria, intermarried with Jonas Hunter, or their legal representatives when the shall severally have arrived at the full age of twenty one years of age, share and share alike, ( my Executors taking in to consideration such advancements, charges in my book, or claims which I may have against any of my said children and deduct the same from such share or part to which the would be entitled Item, I do further authorize and impower my Executors here in after named or the survivors of them to sign, seal, as their act and deed to deliver any lawful or reasonable Deeds, grants conveyances and assuring the fee simple and inheritance of all and every the dwelling house and pieces of ground with their and every of their rights members and appurtenances, unto and to the use and behoof of the purchaser or purchasers their of his her or their heirs and assigns forever and lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Jacob an my son=in law Jonas Hunter and the survivors of them to be Executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former and other wills by me here to fore made and declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament, In witness where of I have here unto set my hand and seal the twenty fift day of October in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty one signed sealed and declared by the said testator as his last will and testament in the presence of us James Kelly John Ankrim Oct. 15, 1842
