Francis and Matilda Shenk Springer

Francis:  Born June 27, 1833 in Pennsylvania and died in Lebanon,
          Linn County, Oregon on Aug. 23, 1893. He is buried in
          Lebanon Masonic Cemetery in Linn County, Oregon. Francis
          married Matilda Shenk who was born Jan. 7, 1839 in Lancaster
          County, Pennsylvania. The family bible says they married
          Nov. 20, 1856 in Pennsylvania and that her parents were
          Samuel Shenk and Martha Ann Pfautz. Matilda Shenk-Springer
          died Nov. 5, 1895 in Jackson County, Oregon and is buried
          in Dunkard Cemetery in Talent, Oregon.

Matilda:  Photo taken in Lancaster, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. She
          was born Jan. 7, 1839 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to
          Samuel Shenk and Martha Ann Pfautz (according to our family
          bible). Matilda married Francis Springer, also born in
          Pennsylvania, Nov. 20, 1856 in Pennsylvania. Matilda died
          Nov. 5, 1895 in Jackson County, Oregon and is buried in
          Dunkard Cemetery there. Francis and Matilda had 12 children:
          Oliver Amos, Aaron Milton, Annie Magdalena, Jacob Bosler,
          Martha Elizabeth, Matilda Marie, David Matthew, Eva Malea,
          Mary Ellen, Hattie Alice, Francis Emery and John Martin Springer.
