My son Frederick is twelve years old. He will not go to school and has a mania for stealing and will steal anything he can get his hnds on. I have done everything I can to control him. He is now entirely beyond my control. Mary Kelly's address: 83 Shenango St., New Castle. Mary Henlein of New Castle deposes that she is the mother of Mary Kelly; testifies to truth of her statement. Father Lewis Kelly's whereabouts unknown. Mother Mrs. Mary Kelly a washerwoman living at 83 Shenango St., New Castle, Pa. (Frederick) denies having done anything to be sent here except stay out late at night. Description: Height 4'8", weight 78 pounds. Light brown hair, light brown eyes, medium complexion, two scars on left breast, one vaccination on left arm. Age: 12 on Oct. 21, 1898; received May 28, 1898, Born Pa., American parentage. Attends what church: Disciples. Father intemperate; mother not intemperate. Parents do not own property. 1 younger brother, 1 older sister, 1 younger sister. Can read & write. Swears and lies.
