Letter from John Stevenson Jr., Shenango Valley Steel Co., New Castle, Pa. to 
J.A. Quay, Supt. Reformatory, Morganza, Pa.  Stevenson, general manager, states 
that they employed in their wire nail factory a boy named Paul Altieri.  He was 
sent to reformatory 8 or 9 months ago.  His father and brother-in-law are 
employed by us.  If you will allow Paul out on parole I will endeavor to see 
that he is employed here.  Judge Wallace of this city promised me to write to 
you on the boys behalf.


Additional Comments:
Business stationery heading stated that Shenango Valley Steel Company of New 
Castle, Pa., were manufacturers of Bessemer pig iron, billets, blooms & slabs.
     Hand written notation "James Altieri, minus 740 merits"
