The Pittsburgh Press Mon Jan 20 1908 
Mrs. Mary A. McDowell, wife of David C. McDowell, member from the Lawrence
district, Fifteenth ward, of the Central Board of Education, died yesterday at
her home, Sixth street, near Center avenue, Aspinwall. Mrs. McDowell, since a
child, had been a member of St. John's Episcopal Church of Lawrenceville.
Besides her husband, one daughter, Miss Irene, survives.
