Mrs. Mary Allen died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. E. Stahler, Chestnut 
street, near Spring, Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, after a lingering illness 
of three years, due to general debility, she having been a helpless invalid for 
that length of time.

Deceased was aged 77 years and made her home with her son-in-law, Rev. Mr. 
Stahler.

Deceased's husband who lives with a son at San Angelo, Texas, paid her a visit 
only a short time ago, and is now visiting in the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia.
