Death of William B. Arnold

William B. Arnold, of Lebanon, died at his home from appendicitis, last Thursday 
morning.  Deceased became sick on Monday previous to his death.  He was to have 
been removed to a hospital on the day of his death, but a sudden change for the 
worse made his removal impossible.  Surviving him is his widow, five children at 
home and Mrs. William Schaeffer, of Lebanon.  Funeral was held on Monday 
afternoon.  Services were conducted in the Catholic church, of Lebanon, of which 
deceased was a member.  Before he and family moved to Lebanon about 2 « years 
ago deceased was a tenant on the farm of John Uhrich, a short distance north-
west of this place and during his residence on the farm conducted a dairy rout 
[sic] at this place.
