Beamesderfer, aged 89 years, died at the home of his son, David Beamesderfer, on Brandywine street, on New Year's eve, of general debility. Deceased was well known and highly respected by the older families of the city and was a consistant and life-long member of the Lutheran church. Before leaving here 30 years ago he was employed by the late G. Dawson Coleman, at Mt. Lebanon. He resided at Union Deposit until two months ago, when he returned and made his home with his son. Samuel Beamesderfer, of Philadelphia and Mrs. Mary MacFarlen, of this city, are surviving children, while grandchildren and great-grandchildren numbering nearly a hundred reside in this city. The funeral services were held at the house this morning by Rev. P. C. Croll and interment was made at the Lutheran cemetery, at Union Deposit. Lebanon Daily News, January 2, 1896
