Adam Bechtle died at his home, on Fourteenth street, yesterday afternoon of 
consumption, aged about 25 years.  Deceased was a number [sic] of Co. H., Fourth 
regiment, N. G. P., and served during the Spanish-American war.  Upon his return 
he took ill with consumption and he was confined to the house for some time.  A 
wife survives.
