MRS. MARIA BENTZ

BENTZ.  In this city, on the 1st inst. Mrs. Maria Bentz, relict of the late 
Emanuel Bentz, aged 80 years.
  Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, at the 
house, No. 216 South Ninth street, which relatives and friends are invited 
to attend.  Interment private.

  At 2 o'clock this afternoon funeral services were held over the remains of 
Mrs. Maria Bentz, relict of the late Emanuel Bentz, at her late residence, 
216 South Ninth street, by Rev. W. H. Stabler, pastor of Zion Lutheran 
church, and interment followed at Mt. Lebanon cemetery.  The pall bearers 
were the four only sons, Adam, Samuel, Charles and William Bentz.  Deceased 
liven an exemplary and useful life and the memory of her good deeds will be 
like a sweet perfume to those who had learned to know and love her.
