Former Jury Commissioner Is Suddenly Taken Off

ON HIS WAY TO WORSHIP

Stricken With Illness, He Is Assisted Home and Lingers Until This
Morning.

   Former Jury Commission Benjamin B. Boeshore died very suddenly on Monday
at his home, 434 North Eleventh street, aged 59 years.
   He seemed to be in ordinarily good health yesterday.  He attended services
in Salem United Brethern Church in the morning and was on his way to the same
place in the afternoon when he was taken ill.
   Something akin to paralysis seemed to effect him while on Ninth street,
near Lehman and friends assisted him to his some.  He became unconscious
shortly after and remained so until the end at 2 o'clock Monday morning.
   He is survived by Shirk Boeshore, who conducted the grocery store, at
Fifth and Lehman street, under the name of B. B. Boeshore and Son, and
another son, Light Boeshore.  Brothers and sisters are Samuel Boeshore and
Mrs. Ed. Kohr, of Lebanon; Joseph and William Boeshore, of Lickdale, and
Ex-Sheriff Frank Boeshore of East Hanover.
   The deceased was best known as Jury Commissioner, in which capacity he
served many years.
   Until last March he was employed as shipping clerk at the Lebanon Stove
Works, having resigned then to devote more time to the business with his son.
   He resided in Lebanon about twelve years, coming here from Fredericksburg,
where he was engaged as a miller.
