Death and Funerals

Sarah Clemens

     Sarah Clemens, widow of Levi Clemens, passed away at her home early 
this morning, after an illness of six weeks, caused by complications of 
diseases. She made her home with her daughter, Mrs Levi Witman, 321 North 
twenty-second street, West Lebanon.
     She was 67 years of age, and was a member of the West Lebanon United 
Brethren Church. She was a highly esteemed neighbor and friend. Her husband 
preceeded her in death several months ago.
     Those who survive are: four daughters, Mrs. Levi Witman, Mrs. John 
Roth, Mrs. George Hockley, Mrs. Andrew Williams, all of Lebanon; three sons, 
Andrew, John and Harry Clemens, of Lebanon; two sisters, Mrs. Samuel Geesey, 
of Suedberg, and Mrs. John Greeley of Ohio; two brothers, Harrison Greeley, of 
Lebanon, and Amos Greeley, of Reading; one step brother, Harry Leaman, of 
Lebanon.
