On Tuesday afternoon Mrs. John Dierwechter died at her home on Broad street, after an illness of only a short duration. Sometime ago she contracted a cold and on Saturday pneumonia set in which resulted in her death. Deceased leaves to survive, a husband, three sons, Levi, William, of this place, Wilson H., Ephrata, and one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Swanger, of Half Way House, and an only brother, John Leitner, of Annville. Funeral will take place on Saturday morning. Services in the Lutheran church, with interment in Union cemetery. Lebanon Daily News, January 16, 1896 MRS. JOHN DIERWECHTER The funeral of Mrs. John Dierwechter took place this morning from the home of her son, Levi, on Broad street, Myerstown, and was largely attended. Services were conducted in Frieden's Ev. Luth. church, by Rev. Dr. F. J. F. Schantz. Interment at Union cemetery. John H. Groh was in charge.
