Deceased was highly esteemed by all who knew her and had a large circle of friends, who are grieved to learn of her death. A friend sends us the following on the death of Mrs. Ely: On Wednesday night, at 9 o'clock, the spirit of Mrs. Elizabeth A. Ely, nee Hinkel, passed into the heavenly home, after an illness of about four weeks. Deceased was a resident of this city for more than 40 years, and was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends, who will be sorry to hear of her death and will testify to her excellent traits of character. She was a life long, consistent member of the Evangelical church and faithfully attended to her Christian duties. She will be sadly missed in homes where she so often spent many pleasant and useful days. She is survived by two sons - John, of this city, and Anthony **yard Ely, of Cincinnati, and four sisters and two brothers. Lebanon Daily News, January 16, 1896 MRS. ELIZABETH A.
