PETER ENSMINGER On Tuesday evening Mrs. Peter Ensminger, near Syner, went to bed as usual, but the next morning failed to appear. After waiting some time her bedroom was visited when it was found that she was dead or unconscious. A physician was quickly summoned, who after an examination found that she was dead, having died from a paralytic stroke. As no one was present it is not known when she expired. Deceased was aged about 50 years and highly respected. She was the second wife of Peter Ensminger, who died some years ago. The surviving children are John R, with whom deceased resided; David R. and Peter R., of Kansas; and two daughters with the first wife, Mrs. Daniel Reese, of near Syner, and Mrs. Warner, of Kansas. The funeral will be held on Sunday morning, in the United Evangelical church, at Steelstown. Lebanon Daily News, January 2, 1896
