The Gazette and Daily York Pennsylvania Friday October 21 1938
Levi W. Ferrance, 72, a former resident of this community, died Wednesday
morning in the Lebanon hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks.
During the past number of years he had resided with his son, Merle Ferrance, who
lives near Lebanon. He is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Hess,
Mechanicsburg, and two brothers: Allen Ferrance, Mechanicsburg, R. D. and
Charles Ferrance. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon, with services at
St. John's Lutheran church. near Shiremanstown. at 2 o'clock. Burial will be
made in the church cemetery
