The York Dispatch Friday October 21 1938
Levi W. Ferrance, 72, a former resident of this community, died Wednesday
morning in the Lebanon hospital where be had been a patient for three weeks.
During the past few years, he had resided with his son, Merle Ferrance, who
lives near Lebanon. He is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Hess,
Mechanicsburg, and two brothers, Allen Ferrance, Mechanicsburg R. D., and
Charles Ferrance. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon with services at
St. John's Lutheran church, near Shiremanstown at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in
the church cemetery.
