MRS. EDWARD GASSERT

  After an illness of several months due to complication of diseases Mrs. 
Edward Gassert, of Richland, died on Saturday.  Deceased would have been 40 
years of age on Thanksgiving Day and is survived by her husband, and one 
son, Ralph, besides one sister,  Mrs. Michael Phillipp, and two brothers, 
Jerome and Nathaniel Bechtold.  The funeral took place on Wednesday 
forenoon.  Services were conducted at the home of the family and interment 
was made on New Cemetery this place.  Before moving to Richland about two 
years ago where they conducted the Railroad House the family resided at West 
Myerstown where her sister and brother Jerome reside.  They at one time 
conducted the U. S. Hotel this place.
