JOHN GROH All that was mortal of Mrs. John Groh was consigned to its last resting place in the new Union cemetery this morning. The services which were held in Frieden's Luth. church, were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Dr. Schantz, assisted by Rev. Leipensberger, of Denver. The mite society of the church, of which the deceased was an indefatigable worker, attended the funeral in a body. The deceased leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, an aged father, Elias Conrad, residing at Grable, and four brothers and one sister, who have the sympathy of the entire community. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. The pall bearers were F. P. Leininger, Frank Yingst, A. G. Price, Ed. Spangler, E. S. Karsnitz and Geo. Holtzman. E. B. Wolf, of Denver, was funeral director. Lebanon Daily News, December 20, 1895
