All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/lebanon/ _______________________________________________ Miss Annie Huber, a highly esteemable lady who was one of Lebanon's most faithful and successful school teachers, died during Tuesday night, at her home on South Tenth street, of nervous prostration, superinduced by her overwork and a severe cold. She had been confined to her bed for several weeks. Deceased was aged 44 years. Miss Huber began teaching in the public schools when she was about fifteen years of age and taught since that time, so that this was her twenty ninth year. From the start she won success as a teacher and her conscientious work led to successive promotions until she became one of the A grammar school teachers. Deceased was a faithful, consistent member of the First Reformed church. She taught a Sunday school class for years, her surviving brothers and sisters are: Mrs. Cyrus Fies, Mrs. Thomas Bear, Henry, William, Joseph, Levi and John H. Huber, all living in this city.
