After years of suffering from heart disease and dropsy, David Huber, a farmer residing north of this place, died very suddenly on Wednesday morning. Last Friday deceased was taken to the Lebanon Sanitarium for proper care and treatment but since his confinement in the institution he gradually grew worse until death relieved him. The direct cause of his death was dropsy. He was aged 51 years. Deceased was never married. Surviving him is one sister, Mrs. David Reber, of Rehrersburg, and Henry Huber, a nephew, the latter having resided with his uncle, on the Huber farm about two miles north of this place. Undertakers a. Bahney & Son took charge of the remains and delivered same to the Huber home from where the funeral will take place on Monday morning, at 9:30 o'clock from his late residence. Services will be conducted in the Lutheran church. Interment in Mt. Hope cemetery. Myerstown Enterprise, January 12, 1906
