MARY KALER Mrs. Mary Kaler, wife of Charles D. Kaler, [unreadable] Forge street, died suddenly at 11:30 o'clock today from heart failure. Deceased had been is apparently good health up to Tuesday morning, at which time she was compelled to take to her bed, no one then thinking that the end was so near. She was a kindly woman, highly esteemed and beloved by all who knew her and the bereaved family has the sympathy of the community for the loss sustained. She was a faithful and consistent member of the Methodist church and took great pleasure in attending the services. Mrs. Kaler is survived by a loving husband and five children, as follows: Oliver P., Mrs. Sydney Johnson, Mrs. Geo. Lingle and the wife of Dr. Wm. S. Huber, all residing in this city, and Mrs. H. D. Hackman, of Womelsdorf. The time of holding the funeral will appear in these columns Friday. Lebanon Daily News, January 22, 1896
