Kartzaman, born at Myerstown, Pa., 31 years ago, died January 4, 1906, from pleuro pneumonia, after a very brief illness. The death occurred at the apartments of his mother Mrs. Lizzie Kartzaman, of No. 15 Normandie Flats, Cor of St. Clair St., and 5th Ave., McKeesport, Pa., with whom he made his home. Since the death of his father about 11 years ago, Martin assumed the responsibility of a father and with the assistance of his younger brother James supported the family. He certainly was a noble young man always pleasant and jovial. The writer will miss him, but his mother, two brothers and sister Annie will miss him far more. He was a member of McKeesport Aerie, No. 285, Fraternal Order of Eagle, McKeesport Conclave, No. 81, Improved Order of Heptasophs. The funeral was held last Sunday at 2 o'clock. Rev. Benzie pastor of the Lutheran Church officiated. The above named orders also took part in the service. The funeral was largely attended by the different orders, and friends of the deceased and family. Signed, UNCLE Pitcairn Pa, Jan 9, 1906 Myerstown Enterprise, January 12, 1906
