  Cassandra Lee Altfather   
  Cassandra Lee Altfather PALMYRA Cassandra Lee Altfather, 15, of 1307 S. Forge 
  Road, Palmyra, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007. She is the daughter of 
  Kathleen Conlon, wife of Ronald J. Scoltock, with whom she lived, and Daniel K. 
  Altfather and his wife Sandy of Wana, West Virginia. She was born on October 
  31, 1991, in Ellwood City, Pa. Cassandra was a sophomore at the Palmyra Area 
  High School where she was active with the field hockey and track teams. She 
  enjoyed painting and drawing and 4-wheeling. Her best friend was her 
  cat "Oliver." She attended the Beulah Baptist Church in Wana, W.Va., with her 
  father and his family. Surviving her in addition to her parents are her brother 
  Daniel M. Altfather; her step-brothers Joshua J. Scoltock and his fianc"e 
  Heather Kleinfelter and Adam M. Scoltock, all of Palmyra; maternal grandparents 
  Michael and Carol Conlon, Zelienople, Pa.; and maternal greatgrandparents David 
  and Francis Eshbaugh, Brookville, Pa.; paternal grandparents Kenneth and Diana 
  Altfather, Wexford, Pa.; and paternal stepgrandmother Jean Barr, Fairview, 
  W.Va.; and maternal step-grandmother Lois M. Scoltock and companion Charles 
  Mangle, Fort Myers, Fla.; aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends may 
  attend a time for viewing on Sunday, October 21, 2007, from 4-7 p.m. at the 
  Rothermel Funeral Home Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra. A memorial service will 
  be held on Monday, October 22, 2007, at 3:30 p.m. at the Palmyra Middle School 
  auditorium. Burial will be private in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. The family 
  requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are given to the Cassandra 
  Altfather Memorial Field Hockey Fund, c/o the Palmyra Area School District, 
  1125 Park Drive, Palmyra, PA 17078. Rothermel Funeral Home Inc. is entrusted 
  with funeral arrangements.
