Anspach, 76, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, died Sunday December 23, 2007, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Wayne H. "Snack" Anspach to whom she was married to for 53 years. Born in Lebanon on March 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William and Grace Stephen Miller. Marion was a homemaker and formerly worked for the H.B. Reese Candy Co., Hershey and the J. Landis Shoe Factory, Palmyra. She attended Jonestown High School; was a member of the Palmyra Church of the Brethren and its Joy Sunday School Class; American Red Cross; and enjoyed shopping for her family, going to the beach, and reading. Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter Cindy wife of M. Steven Bortner of Palmyra; three grandchildren Susannah Bortner wife of David Palmer of Brooklyn, NY , Margaret Bortner of Brooklyn, NY, and Sullivan Bortner of Palmyra; four brothers Kenneth W. husband of Esther Miller of Annville, Glenn L. husband of Barbara Miller of Jonestown, Larry D. husband of Sandra Miller of Grantville, and Terry L. husband of Arletta Miller of Sinnemahoning; and two sisters Mary Ann Miller of Palmyra and Linda K. wife of Herbert Morrow of Grantville. She was preceded in death by three sisters Janet Miller, Patricia Boland, and, Doris Patrick. Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM from the Palmyra Church of the Brethren 45 N. Chestnut Street, Palmyra. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10-11 AM at the Church.
