Beaver, Alice Hart Alice Hart Beaver PALMYRA Alice Hart Beaver, 100, of 1200 Grubb St., Palmyra, died Monday, December 31, 2007, in the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home. She was born September 10, 1907, in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Dr. Charles Vincent and Alice Barringer Hart. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Central High School, Harrisburg, and attended Temple University. She was a bookkeeper and secretary for the Beaver Heating Co. and then worked for 13 years with the Henry and Beaver Law Office. She was a founding member and the first president of the Lebanon Soroptimist Club, and a former president of the Lutheran Church Women at Zion Church and a member of the Women's Sewing group. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, writing and reading while also writing her memoirs and a series of articles titled "Lebanon County Weekender Stories" for the Merchandiser. Surviving are daughter, Jeanne, spouse of Harlan A. Daubert of Fredericksburg; a son, R. Hart, spouse of Joan Beaver of Richland; grandchildren Suzanne Fox, Nancy Kishino, Dr. Harlan A. Daubert, Alison J. Daubert, Dr. Christopher Daubert, Elizabeth Cavalier, Aaron Daubert and Britt Saitta; and 14 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Ralph L. Beaver on 12/21/1971. Visition will be Friday, January 4, 2008, from 10-11 AM in Zion Lutheran Church, 28 N. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17046, followed by services at 11 AM. Interment in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to her church. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., has been entrusted to handle arrangements.
