Loncosky Brasher, 81, formerly of Tower City, died Thursday night at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born in Mount Carmel, August 10, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Hedwig "Edna" Karycki Loncosky. She was of the Catholic faith. Lucy's greatest joys were spending time with her family. She will be remembered for beautiful Easter displays at her home. She was pre-deceased by her son Samuel on April 10, 2007, and a sister Josephine Lesko-Tielman. She is survived by her husband James A., to whom she was married 62 years; two daughters, Lucy Frances Fesig and her husband Clyde of Jonestown, and Edna Rose Rupp and her husband John of Jonestown, with whom Lucy and James reside; two sons, James C. Brasher and his wife Lisa, and Tony Brasher, both of Tower City; daughter-in-law, Melissa Shuey Brasher of Tower City; one sister, Rita Hoover of Tower City; five brothers, Edward Loncosky of Levittown, Thomas Loncosky of Florida, Jerome Loncosky of New Jersey, Chester Loncosky of New Portsville and John Loncosky of Morrisville; 16 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; and one great-great- grandson; nieces and nephews. Services will be held Tuesday, December 4th, at noon from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes Inc. with the Rev. Gregory Mitchell. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
