  John J. Brown Sr. LEBANON John J. Brown Sr., 81, of 620 Elm St., Lebanon, died 
  Monday, October 8, 2007, at his residence. He was the husband of Nancy A. Wiese 
  Brown. Born in Lebanon on January 3, 1926, he was the son of the late Joseph J. 
  and Helen Smetana Brown. He was a retired employee of the former Bethlehem 
  Steel Corp., having worked in the Grace Mines in Morgantown. He was a member of 
  the Lebanon VFW, American Legion, Friendship Fire Co. and St. Benedict the 
  Abbot Church. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and Boston Red Sox fan. He 
  was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Surviving in addition to his wife are 
  two children, Michael, husband of Kathy Brown of Lebanon, and John J. Jr., 
  husband of Bonnie Brown of Mt. Gretna; three grandchildren, Kevin Brown, Wendy 
  Stump and Stacey Klug; seven greatgrandchildren; and one step-grandson, Eli 
  Goshert; one sister, Agnes Brown Potrok of Lebanon; and several nieces and 
  nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 from Thompson Funeral 
  Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St. Interment on Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. 
  Viewing hours Thursday morning from 9-10 at the funeral home. In lieu of 
  flowers donations may be made to the VA Hospital or VA Hospital Hospice 
  Program, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon 17042.
