     Alexander L. English
     
  Alexander L. English CLEONA Alexander L. English, 75, of 80 Royal Place, North 
  Augusta, S.C., formerly of 411 Wilshire Drive, Cleona, Pa., died Tuesday, 
  October 30, 2007, in the Augusta VA Medical Center, Augusta, Ga. He was the 
  husband of Hazel J. Westfall English. Born in Simcoe, Norfolk County, Canada, 
  on August 30, 1932, he was the son of the late Sanford S. and Elsie Luckham 
  English. He was a retired case worker for the Pa. Department of Public Welfare. 
  He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam, life member of the Disabled American 
  Veterans, volunteer for the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, and the Special 
  Olympics. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Sanford W. English of 
  Newport, Pa., and Robert A. English of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter Debra 
  J., wife of David O'Connor of North Augusta, S.C.; six grandchildren; and two 
  sisters, Mary Ann Griggs of Durham, Ontario, Canada, and Nora McLaren of 
  Amersburg, Ontario, Canada. Services will be held at the convenience of the 
  family with interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa. In 
  lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 
  P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720.
