  Luke D. Gromis ROBESONIA Luke D. Gromis, 93, of 267 StoneRidge Community, 
  Myerstown, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at StoneRidge Village. He was born 
  October 29, 1913, in Robesonia, a son of the late Benjamin H. Gromis Sr. and 
  Elvina Engle Gromis. He was a member of St. Daniel's Lutheran Church, 
  Robesonia. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II having served in Europe. 
  He was a retired maintenance employee of the VA Medical Center. Surviving are 
  his wife Margaret I. Yiengst Gromis of Myerstown. He was preceded in death by 
  sisters Annie Haas and Mary Gromis, and brothers Oscar, Charles, Benjamin Jr., 
  Albert, George, and Warren Gromis. Viewing is scheduled for Friday, October 5, 
  2007, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home Inc., 226 Cumberland 
  Street, Lebanon, followed by services at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at 
  Heidelberg Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to St. 
  Daniel's Lutheran Church, 480 Big Spring Road, Robesonia, PA 19551.
