    Catherine C. Grimes Spaulding Hoffman   
  Catherine C. Hoffman MECHANICSBURG Catherine C. Grimes Spaulding Hoffman, age 
  79, of Mechanicsburg passed away Thursday, October 11, 2007, at Holy Spirit 
  Hospital. Born October 29, 1927, in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late 
  Stephen and Anna Rakay Dostich. She retired from Holy Spirit Hospital and was a 
  member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and American Legion Post 109 Auxiliary, 
  Mechanicsburg. She especially cherished traveling with her husband in their RV. 
  She enjoyed spending time with her family. She warmed your heart with her 
  beautiful smile and kindness. Surviving are her husband Carl H. Hoffman; four 
  daughters, Sharon Miller of Bethel, Cathy Grimes of Kingfield, Maine, Sheila 
  Grimes of Cameron, Texas, Nanette Spaulding of Warwick, Mass.; one son, Robert 
  Spaulding of Runaway Bay, Texas; a stepdaughter, Vickie L. Semmel of Palmerton; 
  three stepsons, Bruce Hoffman of Harrisburg, William Spaulding of Lancaster, 
  John Spaulding of Lebanon; a sister Ethel Zearfoss of Jonestown; six 
  grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a 
  brother Stephen Dostich. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 10:30 a.m. 
  Monday, October 15, at St. Joseph Church, 400 East Simpson Street, 
  Mechanicsburg. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, 1810 Jay Street, Lebanon at 1 
  p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart 
  Association, 4999 Louise Drive, Suite 104, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; or St. 
  Joseph's Church, P.O. Box 2012, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. To sign the online
