(Tex) Klahr, 88, of 62 Kindred Place, Annville, formerly of Lebanon, died Monday, December 10, 2007, in M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born August 28, 1919, in Fredericksburg, a son of the late Harry Adam and Lydia Deaven Klahr. He was a member of St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theater of Operations. He had attended Fredericksburg High School and was a retired carpenter from the Union Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, Harrisburg, and a member of the VFW Post No. 23 and the American Legion No. 0915, Fredericksburg. Surviving are wife Margaret M. Schneck Klahr of Annville; children Marcia J., spouse of Dr. Alexander Grande III of Souderton, and John C., spouse of Carol Klahr of Jonestown; brother the Rev. Paul F. Klahr of Riverside, California; granddaughters Mindy Ehrhart of Germany and Amy, spouse of Ernest Perilli of Telford; and greatgrandchild Lydia Perilli of Telford. He was preceded in death by sister Esther M. Latshaw and brother Harvey Klahr. Viewing is scheduled for Friday, December 14, 2007, from 10:30- 11:30 a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, followed by services at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
