"Tony" Labe, 83, of 1123 Walnut St., Lebanon, died Saturday, November 3, 2007, in his home. He was born December 9, 1923, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Elmer W. and Bertha H. Leiss Labe. He was a member of Host United Church of Christ and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a steelworker for Bethlehem Steel Corp. and a life member of the Richland American Legion. Surviving are his wife Grace V. Sherman Labe of Lebanon; a cousin Carl Marburger of Berks County; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Elwood Labe and Carl Labe. Viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, November 7, 2007, from 7-9 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Services will be held Thursday 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Host United Church of Christ Cemetery, Host. Memorials can be sent to Compassionate Care Hospice, 100 E. Brown Street, Suite 23, Middletown, PA 17057.
