  Leroy D. Landis HUMMELSTOWN Leroy D. Landis, 80, of Hummelstown died Thursday, 
  November 15, 2007, in the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. He was born April 21, 
  1927 in Lancaster, Pa., a son of the late Harrison Sr. and Esther (Swineheart) 
  Landis. Mr. Landis retired as supervisor of electrical construction at the 
  Hershey Chocolate Corp.; was a World War II U.S. Army veteran; a member of 
  Chambers Hill United Methodist Church; Brownstone Lodge No. 666 F&AM in 
  Hershey; the Harrisburg Consistory; and Zembo Temple Shrine. Surviving are a 
  son, Doug Landis of Harrisburg; a brother, Harrison Landis Jr. of Palmyra; two 
  sisters-inlaw, Helen Landis of Hershey and Fern Hoffer of Middletown; also a 
  number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna (Porr) 
  Landis on December 2, 1997. Services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2007, 
  at 11 a.m. in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Route No. 422 and Lucy 
  Avenue, Hershey. Friends will be received Monday from 7 till 9 p.m. and Tuesday 
  from 10 till 11 a.m. at the funeral home. There will be a Masonic service 
  Monday at the funeral home at 6:45 p.m. Interment will be in the Hershey 
  Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made 
  to his church at 6300 Chambers Hill Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
