Lesher, Adam "Mel" Adam "Mel" Lesher LEBANON Adam "Mel" Lesher, 66, of Lebanon passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Marie Berry Lesher for 45 years. Born in Lebanon on February 10, 1941, he was the son of the late Elwood and Marcella Arnold Lesher. He retired in 1995 from the Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg, as a management analyst. He also worked for the U.S. Air Force at Middletown and the National Bureau of Standards in Washington, D.C. He was last employed as a part-time lane clerk at Manheim Auto Auction. He was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church, Cleona. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Mt. Olivet Lodge, Lebanon, the Harrisburg Consistory, the Lebanon County Shrine, the Rajah Shrine and the Rajah Car Club of Reading. He was a life member of the National Antique Automobile Club of America. He was also a life member and past president of the Hershey Region Antique Automobile Club of America, the past Fall Meet chairman for the Hershey Antique Car Fall Meet in 1993, and served as the chief judge for the car show at Hershey for two years. He was past president of the Pennsylvania Dutch Antique Automobile Club and one of the founders and co- chairman of the Pennsylvania Dutch Region Annual Consignment Auction. He was a graduate of the Annville-Cleona High School Class of 1959. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife and collecting and selling/trading antique car badges and license plates. In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Jeffrey A. Lesher and his wife Tracy of Reinholds, Pa; a brother James Lesher of Doylestown; a grandson August J. Lesher; several nieces, nephews; and greatnieces and -nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Viewing will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
