"Charlie" Loser, 77, of 385 Acorn Circle, Lebanon, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at his residence. He was the husband of Teresa K. Sholly Loser. Born in Lebanon on July 1, 1930, he was the son of the late Henry P. and Agnes Fox Loser. He was a retired electrician after 33 years for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation in the Cornwall Ore Mines. He also worked as a school bus driver for Brightbill Transportation from 1991-2007. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, the St. Louis Cardinals, was a 1948 graduate of Lebanon High School and enjoyed collecting coins. He had served in the U.S. Navy and attended Grace United Church of Christ. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Michael C., husband of Eileen Loser of Jonestown, Randy L., husband of Denise Loser of Jonestown, Barbara Ebright of Harrisburg, Kristopher Atwood of Bethel, and Brian Atwood of Quentin; four grandchildren, Gregory, Matthew, Ryan, and Justin; three greatgrandchildren, Kale, Seth, and Allisa. He was the last of his immediate family. Preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Ebright Loser; a son, Thomas Loser; and a brother, Marvin Loser. Funeral services Tuesday at 11 a.m. from Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St., Lebanon. Interment at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Viewing hours Tuesday morning from 9-11 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Church of Christ, 1000 S. Fifth Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042; or the American Cancer Society, Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042.
