  Richard L. Mahle ANNVILLE Richard L. Mahle, 90, formerly a resident of Upper 
  Darby for 55 years, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007, in Lebanon County, Pa. He 
  has recently moved to his daughter's residence at 21 Sandy Drive, Annville, Pa. 
  He was born in Philadelphia on August 29, 1917, to Paul and Elizabeth Haberkern 
  Mahle. He was the husband of Clara Jones Mahle who died December 1, 2005. He 
  and his brother Herbert were business partners operating Mahle's Bar & Grill 
  for 30 years in Upper Darby, Pa. Richard was a U.S. Army veteran of World War 
  II serving in New Guinea as a medical technician for the 120th General 
  Hospital. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 711 F & A M, Lansdowne, and 
  he enjoyed hunting. Surviving him are a son R. Dennis Mahle and his wife Susan 
  (Replogle) of West Chester; a daughter B. Diane and her husband Bartley 
  Kaminski of Annville; his grandchildren Bartley Kaminski, Tanya O'Connor and 
  Cathy Powers; his greatgrandchildren Sarah O'Connor and Cassidy Powers; his 
  brothers Herbert Mahle of Ridley and Elwood Mahle of Philadelphia, Pa. 
  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, 
  November 30, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the Rothermel Funeral Home Inc., 25 W. Pine 
  St., Palmyra, Pa. Cremains burial will be private.
