(Ciecierski) Gladys P. Plessinger LEBANON Gladys P. (Ciecierski) Plessinger, 92, of the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home went to be with Lord surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 5, 2007, in the home. She was the wife of the late John "Willard" Plessinger Sr., who died January 6, 1991. She was the daughter of John and Helen Przybylski Ciecierski. She was born July 22, 1915, in Lewistown, Pa. Gladys retired from the H.B. Reese Candy Company. She formerly lived at Interfaith Manor in Palmyra where she was very active. She was a member of the Palmyra Senior Citizen's. She enjoyed gardening, reading, playing bingo, watching TV, baking, cooking, embroidery and knitting afghans. Surviving her are her three sons, John W. Plessinger Jr. and his wife Joyce of Palmyra, Kenneth M. Plessinger and his wife Ruth Ann of Annville and Robert C. Plessinger and his wife Nancy of Dennellen, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She is the last of her family. She is preceded in death by brothers Felix, Leo, John, Fred and Edward; and a sister Lucy Bowen. Relatives and friends are invited to a time of viewing on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, from 9-10 a.m. at the Community Bible Church, 1849 S. Forge Road, Palmyra, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral service with the Rev. Gregory Wilson officiating. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. at the Lind Memorial Methodist Cemetery, Lewistown, Mifflin County, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Community Bible Church Building Fund. Rothermel Funeral Home Inc. is entrusted with funeral services.
