Rios Sr. John M. Rios Sr. ELIZABETHTOWN John M. Rios Sr., 85, died October 24, 2007, at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the husband of Joan Elizabeth Gable Rios of 160 E. High St., Elizabethtown, Pa. Born in Harrisburg on May 12, 1922, he was the son of J. Manuel and Margaret M. Youtz Rios. He was a free lance artist an had operated an art gallery in Elizabethtown with his wife. He was also an illustrator, writer and researcher for the Kavanaugh Syndicate. In 1969 his entry "Mail Stop" was selected to hang in the William Penn Museum during the Arts Festival. He did illustrations for the covers of bulletins of the Department of Environmental Resources, Harrisburg. He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Lebanon. He is survived in addition to his wife by John M. Jr., husband of Kimbra Rios, Elizabethtown, Peter J., husband of Melany Rios, Millersville, Rebecca, wife of Kelly Murphy, Columbia, Paul J. Rios, Elizabethtown, Margaret A., wife of Glenn Gomba, Millersville, Joan R. Rios, Elizabethtown, David J., husband of Michelle, Columbia, Matthew J. Rios, Annville, Philip J., husband of Kimberly Rios, Blufton, S.C., Daniel J., husband of Debra Rios, Palmyra, Rachel J., wife of Victor Marquez, York, Deborah G., wife of Christopher Reinbold, Reading, Maryann, wife of Shawn Twyman, Fleetwood; 25 grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; and sister Gloria E.G. Rios, Millersville. Funeral will be Saturday morning 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Sixth and Chestnut streets, Lebanon. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10 a.m. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Luke's Memorial Fund.
