Miller shabodeho@aol.com October 30, 2007, 11:55 am Lebanon Daily News on 10/30/2007 Rittle Jr., Richard William Richard William Rittle Jr. LEBANON Richard William Rittle Jr., 60, of 2550 Long Lane, Lebanon, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family on October 26, 2007, in the University of Pa. Hospital, Philadelphia. He will forever be in their hearts. He was a strong and gentle man having courageously battled cancer for 20 months. He was the husband of Beverly K. Stickler Rittle. Rich was born in Lebanon on August 5, 1947, he was the son of Richard W. Sr. and Miriam Helig Rittle of Lebanon. He worked for 16 years as a carpenter at the Lebanon VA Medical Center, had his own business known as Rittle's Remodeling, and before that was employed by the Bethlehem Steel, Lebanon. Rich was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a graduate of Lebanon High School, and enjoyed being with family, watching old movies, and working with his tools. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are a daughter Kimberly J. Rittle of Myerstown; a step-son Matthew B., husband of Amber Bell of Helena, Montana; and a stepdaughter Jessica, wife of Jeffrey Freiwald of Womelsdorf; a grandson Brayden Freiwald; and a brother Ronald, husband of Helen Rittle of Reistville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment with military honors in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
