  Florence Roth LEBANON Florence Roth, 83, of Lebanon passed away at ManorCare on 
  September 26. She was the wife of the late Robert Roth. Born in New York she 
  and her family moved to Lebanon 40 years ago. She was the daughter of the late 
  Samuel and Ruth Rakowitz. Florence was an active member of Congregation Beth 
  Israel, Beth Israel Sisterhood and the Lebanon Chapter of Hadassah. She worked 
  at the YMCA as bookkeeper for 17 years and continued to be a regular attendee 
  after her retirement. She loved the Y and had many friends there. Surviving are 
  two daughters, Pauline Goldberg, 27 Mayfair Gardens, Apt. No. 1E, Commack, NY 
  11725, Marla Roth of New York; a brother, Rabbi Myron Rakowitz, New York; two 
  grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren. Deceased was a son, Philip Roth; 
  sisters, Pauline Rakowitz, Reva Goldsstein and Lillian Hyman. Contributions can 
  be made to Hadassah (Jewish National Fund) or to the American Cancer Society, 
  P.O. Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042. The burial took place on Sept. 30 in New
