  Stewart C. Sheeder Sr. LEBANON Stewart C. Sheeder Sr., 87, passed away on 
  Wednesday, November 21, 2007, after a long illness. He was a resident of 
  ManorCare in Lebanon, Pa., where he was lovingly cared for by the staff. Born 
  November 11, 1920, in Bedford County, he was the son of the late Raymond and 
  Grace (McClain) Sheeder. He was a veteran of World War II. Serving with the 
  U.S. Marines, he fought in the battle of Iwo Jima. He was a former game warden 
  and owned and operated several businesses through the years including 
  Hummelstown Outboard Sales and Service, M&S Auto Service, and several 
  businesses in Florida. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the 
  outdoors. He was instrumental in organizing the Hummelstown Field and Stream 
  Association. He is survived by four daughters, Gloria, wife of William E. 
  Hallman of Hummelstown, Kathryn, wife of John T. Shappell of Etters, Rebecca 
  Koch of Palmyra, and Kimberly, wife of Jacob King of Lancaster; a son Randall, 
  husband of Linda of Harrisburg; 12 grandchildren; and 17 greatgrandchildren; 
  one sister, H. Bernice, wife of Lester Keller of Palmyra. He was preceded in 
  death by a son, Stewart C. Sheeder Jr.; two sisters, Madalene Felix Gladney and 
  Patricia Mongold; and brother Glenn Sheeder. Private services will be held at 
  the convenience of the family. If desired, donations may be made in Stewart's 
  name to the Alzheimers Association, 3544 North Progress Avenue, Suite 205, 
  Harrisburg, PA 17110; or to your local hospice center
