  PAUL E. SHELAHAMER WEST HANOVER PAUL E. SHELAHAMER, 85, of West Hanover 
  Township died Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the M. S. Hershey Medical Center. 
  Born July 10, 1922 in West Hanover Township, he was the son of the late Hiram 
  and Carrie (Lingle) Shelahamer. He was a self-employed farmer working together 
  with his wife for 64 years on the family farm in West Hanover Township; had 
  worked for 32 years at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show and the Pennsylvania 
  Horse Show and was a machine operator at the West Hanover Election Polls for 27 
  years. He was a life long member of Shells Evangelical Lutheran Church, 
  Shellsville; a member of the West Hanover Fire Company, Mt. Laurel Community 
  Association, the Bunker Hill Bluegrass and Country Music Association and was a 
  member of the former 50 Plus Club of West Hanover Township. He enjoyed going to 
  carnivals and bluegrass festivals. His life long passion was farming the land 
  and he was proud to be a farmer. Surviving are his wife of 64 years Norma 
  (Koons) Shelahamer; daughters Rosemary L. Deibler of Hummelstown and Pauletta 
  M. Shelahamer of Harrisburg; a granddaughter Wendy K. Stevens of Harrisburg and 
  great grandchildren Brittni O. Talley and AJ Talley. Funeral services will be 
  held 11:00 AM Monday, December 10, 2007 at Shells Evangelical Lutheran Church; 
  287 Shells Church Road, Grantville. Burial will be in Shells Cemetery. Viewings 
  will be held 6:00 ñ 8:00 PM Sunday at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, 
  Grantville and 10:00 ñ 11:00 AM Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers 
  contributions may be made to Shells Evangelical Lutheran Church, 287 Shells 
  Church Road, Grantville, PA 17028.
