  Yiengst, Dorothy J.
     
  Dorothy J. Yiengst CHAMBERSBURG Dorothy J. Yiengst, 89, a resident of the 
  Quarters at Shook Home, Chambersburg, Pa., and formerly of Lebanon, Pa., passed 
  away on Monday, November 5, 2007, in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born in 
  Allentown, Pa., on December 5, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Levi W. 
  and Helen Dorney Yiengst. She was a graduate of Allentown High School and the 
  Allentown Business College. A career employee with PP&L in Allentown, Pa., she 
  retired in 1983 with over 30 years of service. Prior to moving to Chambersburg 
  she was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church of Allentown, Pa., and Zion 
  Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lebanon, Pa. She had a love for travel. She and 
  her sister, Kathleen "Kitty," were privileged to visit several countries. She 
  was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Kathleen Yiengst, and a brother 
  Homer Yiengst. She is survived by a niece Rebecca K. Sexton and husband, Bruce 
  of Chambersburg, Pa. Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, 
  November 7, 2007, in the chapel of Taylor Ruffner Funeral Home, 712 Chestnut 
  St., Lebanon, Pa., with the Rev. Lawrence E. Hawkins of Zion Evangelical 
  Lutheran Church officiating. Viewing will be an hour before the service. 
  Interment will be private in the Cedar Church Cemetery in Allentown.
