"Josie" Angelo, 82, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday at her residence. Born in Queensboro, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Manuel J. and Mary Gabriele Yris. She was married to the late Nicholas J. Angelo. Mrs. Angelo was employed with the Pa. Water Specialist " Rain Soft " Company where she was an appointment consultant, Conestoga Memorial Park, as a memorial counselor for 12 years, and proof consultant at Olin Mills Photography of Lancaster. She was a member of the Morgantown Management Club, volunteer at the Reading Hospital, member of the Morgan Women's Club, dance instructor for many years at a Lebanon, Pa., studio. Josie is a licensed dog groomer. She enjoyed bowling and was in two leagues with her husband Nick. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Cornwall and Our Lady of Lourdes in New Holland, Pa. Surviving are her daughter Michelle G., married to Ross B. Weinhold of Denver, Pa.; a granddaughter, Nicole D. Weinhold; and two grandsons, Jordan and Drew Weinhold; three stepchildren, Daniel Angelo, Julie Spivey, both of Georgia, and Monica Gundy of Mohnton, Pa. She is survived by one brothe,r Emmanuel J., married to Marge of North Carolina; and a sister Helen D. Sweigart of Ephrata, Pa. Friends may be received on Friday, from 6 ñ 8 p.m. at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel Inc., 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543; the rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2596 Cornwall Road, Cornwall PA 17016, at 11 a.m. with Father Paul R. Fisher as celebrant. Interment in Holy Savior Cemetery in Cornwall, Pa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Josie's memory to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602.
