"Missy Anspach, age 35, of Oak Grove Road, Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at home. Born on October 10, 1972 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of Harold and Joanne Schneck Anspach, with whom she resided. Missy was a member of the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, Sweet Arrow Lake Road, Pine Grove. She was a 1990 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School, a 1992 graduate of Central Penn Business School, and had been employed as a claims representative for the Crump Life Insurance Services Inc., in Harrisburg. Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Thomas and Martha Schneck; and her paternal grandparents, Paul and Irene Anspach. Surviving in addition to her parents are a sister, Jodi, wife of Jerry Fasnacht of Orefield, Pa.; a brother, Robert Anspach of Hauppauge, New York; a niece, Taylor Fasnacht; two nephews, Dylan and Austin Fasnacht, all of Orefield; and a stepgrandmother, Theresa Lombel Anspach of Pine Grove. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008, at 11 a.m. in the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, 347 Sweet Arrow Lake Road, Pine Grove, with Pastor Richard Hoffman officiating. There will be a viewing on Thursday, September 11, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove. Interment will be in the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Sweet Arrow Lake Road, Pine Grove. The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be sent to the Gastric Cancer Research Fund #29730, c/o Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065, designated in memory of Melissa Anspach.
